Individual Services

  • Job Seeker Services Offers an array of services and supports, including use of our Resource Room (computers, fax machine, telephone, internet access, job board). Use of the Resource Room is free and available to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm. Assistance in developing a resume, practice interviewing skills, and tips on how to follow up after an interview. Access to our job board and referrals to other Employment and Training Partners when appropriate.
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) assists Able Bodied Adults without Dependents with skill enhancement that includes, work readiness, job readiness and training services to assist them in finding employment for required participants.
  • Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP) Ohio’s employment program for young adults (ages 14-24) can help you train for your dream career. CCMEP can provide; career coaching, job placement, tuition assistance, mentoring, financial aid, transportation support and many other ways to help you get started on your journey to greatness today.
  • Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Is offered to Adults, Dislocated Workers, and Young Adults. WIOA increases the opportunities for individuals, particularly those with barriers to employment, support alignment of workforce investment, education, and economic development system, provides workers with the skills and credentials to secure and advance employment, increases the success of workers and employers, and increases the employment retention and earnings of participants and the attainment of recognized post-secondary credentials.

    • Job Posting OhioMeansJobs.com, our web-based service, is an employment site for Ohio-based companies to find tools to assist them in attracting, hiring, retaining, and advancing their workforce. The site allows employers to post jobs, search resumes, take advantage of federal, state, and local employment programs and more.     • On-The-Job Training (OJT) is a federally funded program that helps employers hire and train workers for full-time, long-term employment. Full-time employment is considered 32 hours per week. Through OJT programs, employers may be reimbursed up to 50 percent of the wages earned by eligible new trainees while they learn the job. This funding compensates you for training workers in skills they need to help your business thrive.
    • Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) support training project that benefit employers by assisting the skill development of existing employees, thereby increasing employee productivity and growth of the company.
    • Rapid Response/Layoff and Dislocation Service We can assist your workers affected by layoffs.
